DEFUNCT PARK OF THE MONTH

THIS MONTH'S DEFUNCT PARK IS...

DOODLEBUG PARK, TREVORTON, PA

Doodlebug Park, Trevorton, PA was another verison of a theme park.  This kid focused on young children.  It operated from the 1960's until 1976.

Some of the rides that were located here were:

A small paddle wheel boat, Miniature Park Train, an Allen Hershell steel kiddie coaster, a 10 or 12 car Eli Ferris Wheel, a kiddie auto ride, kiddie boats, kiddie Carousel, Skyfighters ride, Kiddie (army) tanks, Kiddie (roto) whip, a Tilt-A-Whirl, and a mostly Carmel Horses Wooden Carousel (2 row).

R.I.P. Doddlebug Park

I need your help.  Due to the limited sources on defunct amusement parks, I need information on defunct parks. I would like to know the name(s), years open, rides there. I will accept anything though.  Email
oldfashionedfunpark@yahoo.com if you have any information. THANKS!
